Flatlands Cycling Club
FlatLands Cycling Club is dedicated to advocate for cyclists and promote the sport of cycling in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
We are a group of people united by one thing - the bicycle. Our ultimate goal is simple; we want to help make cycling in our community better. We contribute to that goal by creating and hosting fun events and provide unique opportunities to connect riders in our community. By connecting riders, we’re creating a stronger network of cyclists that can improve the cycling experience for all.
Our group was founded in 2019 with bike racing in mind. One of our big goals was to bring a legitimate road race to the Fargo-Moorhead area and create a team of cyclists to attend local races. Then COVID hit and plans changed, people moved, things got shuffled...but a few of us kept working in the background. Racing is still an interest to us and will inspire some of our events, but it is not our only mission. We connect riders in fun ways and advocate for them in our community.
We are officially a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization powered by volunteer efforts. Our club is young and small right now, but we’ve delivered on some great ideas and collaborations! If you’d like to help there is room for you.
